Warhammer 40,000 Learn to Play nights!
Learn to Play Warhammer 40,000!!!
Our "Learn to Play" sessions continue, this time with the most well know game ever, Warhammer 40,000.
What to bring:
* Measuring tape (if you have one)
* Dice (six sided)
* Models (if you have them)
Cost: $15 per person covers all six sessions - sessions are every two weeks. Come to one or come to all!
This course is designed for beginners, people who have never played Warhammer before, or want to get their heads around 11th Edition, or even just a wargame in general.
Night 1 begins with 500 points (any army or type - bring what you have or let us know if you don't have any models and we will supply) on the 24th September and then every two weeks after that. Please contact the store to book your place!
And remember, this is absolutely no experience necessary! In fact, the less you know, the more you'll get out of these sessions!
Havoc Book Club - October 2026
A book club for nerds! Join us with a set book every fewmonths! Simply register your interest and get a cheap copy of the chosen book. The at the end we chat about what we liked, didn't like, what we want for the next book...
For the initial Book Club book we are looking at doing: Horus Rising by Dan Abnett

Paint Havoc!
Introducing the first ever Paint Havoc painting competition!
We're looking to promote more hobby in the community! And what better way than to reward some amazing painters!
Categories:
Masters - previous winners of TCG paint events, or nominate yourself as a master painter for all the glory!
Juniors - painters 14 and under
Standard - the rest of us!
Entry Fee:
$5 per model OR purchase the model from Havoc prior to the event. There is no limit on what models can be entered. Want to enter a single model? SURE! Want to go all out and do a diorama? SURE! Your entry is chosen by you.
End Date:
Bring in your model(s) by end of day Sunday 29th November. Models will be on show in the Havoc display cases for a week for all to see before winners are announced!
Prizes:
Awards will be given for each category depending on the amount of entries.
Best in Show award.
Votes will be taken for People's choice awards.
Every model will be judged firstly on storytelling and ambience (feel free to give us a story when handing the model in) and then on technical painting.
Every entry will have feedback from a handful of judges and will get a photo featured on this event page.
So get involved and potentially get your model on the in-store Legends Board!

Here's your opportunity to get your hands on some awesome deals (or get rid of those projects you're never going to have time for)! Personally, I used to love going to these at Throw The Dice, and am hoping to follow in his great footsteps.
There are ten 6 by 4 tables available for people to hire for the day and sell off their old stuff. The cost will be $15 per table, or $7.50 for half a table. If there's a huge amount of interest, I may open up the other rooms for hire as well.
Table holders can come in from 9am to set up their spaces. From 10am customers can come in and start purchasing!
